Devi is the co-founder of Bio Basics, a social venture promoting and retailing organic food and curating indigenous grains. She is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Bharat Agroecology Fund, a grant making entity supporting Agroecology initiatives.
Devi has worked on sustainable food solutions and organic / sustainable farming since 2005. From 2008 to 2018, she was also a part of the Save Our Rice Campaign. She has been part of various sustainable agriculture movements and is passionate about promoting agro-biodiversity conservation through diverse foods.
Devi loves to work with seed saver farmers and regenerative farms, is passionate about indigenous grains, and is committed to grain diversity.
She worked in the public and private sector for 14 years and obtained her Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
