Devi Lakshmikuty is the co-founder of Bio Basics, a social enterprise promoting organic food and curating indigenous grains. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Bharat Agroecology Fund, which supports agroecological initiatives across India. Since 2005, Devi has worked extensively on sustainable farming and organic food systems. From 2008 to 2018, she was part of the Save Our Rice campaign and continues to champion agro-biodiversity through her engagement with seed saver farmers and regenerative farms. Before transitioning to the sustainability sector, she worked in the public and private sectors for over 14 years and holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
